Dodge Street Overpass 50th Anniversary
Omaha's historic Dodge Street Overpass turns 50 years old in 2018. To celebrate this milestone, the Dundee Memorial Park Association is raising funds to have the bridge sandblasted and repainted to maintain it's integrity. Here's a link to KETV's news story with more details.

The Sunks update in the OWH

Dodge Street Subway Mural is Underway!
Members of UNO's National Art Education Association Chapter installed one side of the subway mural on Sunday. It looks great! They will be adding a polyurethane coating this morning and I will be putting the anti-graffiti coating on in a couple of days if it does not get too cold. The ceiling now has blue sky and clouds which were added on Saturday. The five window panels for the other side of the mural are nearly finished but we may have to hold off installing until spring unless we get another streak of very warm weather.
