UNO Community Arena - Scheduled opening in Fall 2015 with over 65 scheduled annual events. Whoa.

Dodge Street Subway update - Mural design work by Dundee School students started in January. Finalizations on the project are being made, but it’s not to late to donate! SO many individuals and businesses have donated, and we are SO THANKFUL!

Library Committee

Dundee Memorial Park Association is looking for a few volunteers to work with our Library Chair, Fran Teply, to make up a Library Committee. These individuals would assist in raising money, monitoring landscaping, meeting regularly with "Friends of the Library", and other vital tasks for the Sorensen Library. If you'd like to volunteer, please fill out our volunteer form here.

OWH: Iconic Dodge Street Pedestrian Bridge, Nearing Its 50th Birthday, is Showing Its Age

The Dodge Street Bridge will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2018. The bridge carries school children as well as joggers and their furry friends from Memorial Park to Elmwood Park. It literally unites two of Omaha's best parks. Here's a link to an OWH article about the Dodge Street Bridge's need for a "face lift".

OWH Covers Dodge Street Subway

The OWH covered a story on Omaha's only underground pedestrian tunnel that is right in the heart of Dundee. It was built in the 1930's and today serves as a safe route to school for about 100 Dundee Elementary school students. Read the article here and donate to the renovations here.
