Mark your calendars for the Neighborhood Spring Cleanup, Sat. May 22, 9-2, at the Elmwood Park pool parking lot, 606 S. Elmwood Park Rd. This free event provides Omaha residents the opportunity to recycle or dispose of large or bulky items that are not accepted through curbside waste or recycling services. Only residential/household items accepted (commercial waste prohibited.) Metal and electronics recycling will be available at the Elmwood site, and tires & appliances will be accepted at other participating sites.
